Forms and Their Proper Completion
Forms and Their Proper Completion
Description
Accurate and objective documentation is a critical part of any successful employee training and evaluation program. This course provides participants with a practical understanding of proper form completion, evaluation procedures, and the importance of maintaining clear, consistent, and defensible training records.
Participants will examine common evaluation biases, including the Halo and Horn Effects, and learn how these biases can influence employee assessments. The course also focuses on the proper completion of observation reports and other essential training documents, emphasizing the use of specific, observable, and job-related information rather than opinions, assumptions, or vague statements.
Special attention is given to the observation report as one of the most important permanent administrative records within a training and evaluation program. Participants will learn documentation practices designed to support fairness, consistency, accountability, and legal defensibility while creating an accurate record of employee performance and development.
By the end of the course, participants will better understand how standardized evaluation procedures and effective documentation help protect the employee, the evaluator, and the organization while strengthening the overall training program.
